Description
DESCRIPTION
- This apparatus has been designed to demonstrate the force developed by a jet of water impinging upon a stationary object.
- Water is fed through a nozzle and discharged vertically to strike a target carried on a stem which extends through the cover.
- On the upper end of this stem is mounted a weight container.
- The dead weight of the moving parts is counter-balanced by a compression spring.
- A total of three targets are provided; a flat plate, a 120 degree cone and a hemispherical cup.
